Q. What makes KYC Data different from other list providers?

A. We are a national compiler of public information, which provides us with unique advantages. Most notably, this allows us to be more flexible when serving our customers because we retain total control of our data. This, in turn, allows us to provide our customers with the highest quality data available while focusing on the following 4 C’s: Currency, Coverage, Comprehensive Data and Customer Service.

Q. How is your data compiled?

A. Our data is compiled  hourly from county courthouse records. The security deed and warranty deed is the basis for all the information we obtain.

Q. I am not sure how to select the right list. Can you help?

A. Absolutely. Our staff has over 26 years of experience in providing public information for marketing and research purposes. We are happy to work with you to determine which list best fits your needs. We’ll even help you with details related to targeting, testing and generating response.

And, if you’re sourcing data on behalf of your own clients, our name says it all. Let KYC Data do the ground work so you can focus on keeping your customers happy.

Q. Can you append phone numbers, credit information or other data in your file?

A. Yes. Our relationships with other data companies, publishing firms and credit reporting agencies allow us to append almost any information you can imagine. Have an idea on how to append our information with another compiled or response list to better target your prospects? Contact your KYC Data representative to discuss it. Or, ask your representative how other KYC Data clients have successfully used appended data to increase response in their campaigns.

Q. Can you deliver data by mortgage transaction type?

A. Yes. Simply tell us whether you want only new homeowners or only those who have borrowed equity against their home. You can also select your data by type of equity transaction (second, refinance or LOC), type of home purchase made (new or resale), type of loan (FHA, conventional, etc.), rate type on the loan (fixed, variable) or other available selections such as original lender.

Q. How current are your new homeowner mailing lists?

A. We take pride in providing the most current data available on the market today. Test our data against your current supplier and see for yourself. Our lists are compiled hourly and available for daily delivery.

Q. What are my data delivery options?

A. You can choose to receive your lists via e-mail or upload to your FTP site. We can also set up a delivery FTP site that we will host for you to retrieve your files. The choice is yours.

Q. How quickly can I get my list?

A Same day service is available for almost all of our lists via e-mail delivery. If your list requires special formatting or appended information, delivery can take a little longer from your initial order date.

Q. What file type is used for my data?

A. Our files are delivered in text (*.txt) format. These text files can be in a comma-delimited format or in a fixed field layout. Let us know the format you would prefer to receive and we will deliver your data in that format. Custom field layouts are available upon request; please provide enough time to test the file layout prior to actual delivery.

Q. If I need ongoing delivery of data, how often will I receive a file?

A. We have flexible delivery options designed to fit every mailing or marketing schedule. You can choose to receive your data daily, weekly or monthly. Ask your KYC Data representative for more details.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and checks.

Q. My file was compressed. How do I open a “zip” file?

A. To open a zipped file, you should double click on the zipped file. On most computers, this will initiate WinZip, which will unzip it for you. If you do not have WinZip, you can download and install it here: http://www.winzip.com.

Q. How do I import my file to Microsoft Word or other text editor to create labels?

A. Microsoft Word’s mail merge feature offers a simple method for importing text files directly into label formats.  Detailed instructions for Microsoft Word 2002 and 2003 can be found on Microsoft’s Web site: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA010349201033.aspx.

Q. I buy data from multiple suppliers, can I provide you with a usage report?

A. We have created this type of arrangement with certain high-volume clients. If you are interested in this type of arrangement, please contact your KYC Data representative to discuss.
