eCommerce – How To Clear the Cache – Mozilla Firefox

Have you ever wondered why you can’t see updates to a web page?

When we roll out changes, it is sometimes necessary to clear out images and files (cache).  A cache is used by a web browser to speed up your experience.  Images and other files are stored locally on your computer so you don’t have to download that data every time you visit a site.  Our eCommerce site is no exception.

To clear your cache it takes just a few short steps.  First, it is always a good idea to close the tab which is out of date.

In Mozilla Firefox, click on the menu (ellipses):

 

Next, scroll down to “Privacy and Security”, scroll down to “Cookies and Site Data” and click on “Clear Data”:

 

Finally, you may want to clear out Cookies and Cached Images and Files.  Check those items and then push the “Clear” button:

 

That is all you need to do!  Open a new tab and navigate to the web site!
